I have this theory that the reason packaging is near impossible to open is not to thwart shoplifters, but to torture the very customers who bought the product in the first place.
Our frustration has a name: wrap rage. (It’s in Wikipedia, so it must be real.)
As for the packaging, it has inspired new products designed to cut through the plastic. This one caught my eye because it’s sealed inside the same impossible-to-open packaging material that it’s designed to open.
Calling the Product Design department: what were you thinking?
